  1. Analytical testing
    Analytical testing involves examination with a stereo microscope as well as instrumental test methods. On existing buildings, the results of our examination and testing are important in understanding conditions and deterioration mechanisms. With new construction, analytical testing helps in problem solving.

  1. Cleaning tests
    With existing buildings, cleaning tests are conducted on samples from actual projects. Test results help the architect develop specifications for the projects. In some cases, we receive samples from projects that are in progress where problematic soiling or stains present unexpected challenges. With new construction, laboratory testing provides information about appropriate products and procedures for manufacturers. Also, this information is used by architects in developing specifications.

  1. Protective treatments
    2. AMT Labs conducts a variety of tests to evaluate the effectiveness of protective treatments – the tests that weconduct depend on project goals and performance requirements, conditions, and the project budget. Test results help the architect, contractor, or building owner select the most effective treatments and rule out adverse effects.
